Is the app notarized?
The current beta DMG is signed and distributed through GitHub Releases, but it is not notarized yet. You may need to right-click and choose Open the first time you launch it.
Do I need an account?
No account is required to start using the free Mac app. Cloud AI providers, external logins, or Pro checkout may require accounts with those services.
Does Pro include AI credits or do I bring my own provider?

What happens when I cancel?
You can cancel the annual Pro subscription before renewal. The app keeps the free tier available, and local transcripts and exports remain under your control.
Can I permanently delete transcripts?
Echoic is designed for local-first transcript storage, so you can delete local meeting records from your Mac. Delete exported copies separately wherever you saved them.
